FAQ
Frequently asked, plainly answered.
01About CoverFind
Do you sell insurance?
No. CoverFind is an independent education publisher. We're not an agency, broker, or carrier, and we don't earn commissions on policies.
Will you recommend an insurance company?
No. Prices and service vary by state and by person, so we teach you how to compare offers rather than naming winners.
Will my information be passed to insurers?
No. We never sell or share your contact details with insurers, agents, or lead buyers. See our Privacy Policy.
02Shopping for coverage
How often should I compare prices?
Many people reshop at renewal time or after a big life change — moving, a new car, marriage, a new driver in the house. Our annual review checklist walks through it.
Is the lowest price the best deal?
Only if it buys the same coverage. Use the Policy Comparison Worksheet to line up limits, deductibles, and add-ons before you compare price.
Should I raise my deductible?
It depends on how much you save per year and how comfortably you could cover the higher amount. The Deductible Tradeoff Calculator shows the break-even point.
03Updates and texts
What will you text me?
Only what you opt into: service updates (sign-up confirmations, new-guide notices) and, if you check the separate box, marketing messages like enrollment reminders.
How do I stop texts?
Reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
Do I have to sign up to use the site?
No. Every guide, checklist, and tool is free to use without signing up for anything.
